Strawberry Poke Pound Cake Wheel
- 1 pkg. (10.75 oz.) frozen pound cake, thawed
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup blueberries Whole Foods 3 For $10.00 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
- Pierce pound cake with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
- (Do not remove cake from foil pan.)
- Add boiling water to gelatin mix in medium bowl; stir 2 min.
- until completely dissolved.
- Pour evenly over cake.
- Refrigerate 3 hours or until gelatin is set.
- Combine fruit in medium bowl.
- Add sugar; toss to coat.
- Let stand 10 min.
- Dip bottom of foil pan in warm water 10 sec.
- Invert cake onto serving plate; remove pan.
- Cut cake into 8 slices; arrange around edge of large serving plate.
- Spoon COOL WHIP into small bowl; place in center of plate.
- Top cake with fruit mixture.
