Italian Sub
- 1/2 cup red wine vinaigrette*
- 1 (16-ounce) loaf French bread, sliced horizontally
- 12 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes Deli 4 Cheese Italian Blend
- 6 leaves leaf lettuce
- 1/2 pound thinly sliced deli ham
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced salami
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced pepperoni
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 1/2 small red onion, cut into thin rings
- Brush vinaigrette onto cut-sides of bread.
- Top bottom half of bread evenly with 6 slices cheese, lettuce, ham, salami, pepperoni, 6 remaining slices cheese, tomato slices and red onion rings.
- Cover with top half of bread.
- Cut into 8 equal pieces.
- *Substitute Italian dressing or hot pepper hoagie spread.
