Pear Apple Sauce

  1. Peel, core and chop all apples and pears.
  2. (For a chunkier sauce cut fruit into large cubes.
  3. For a smoothers sauce cut fruit into small cubes.)
  4. Place apples and pears in a large, heavy bottom, sauce pan.
  5. Add in water and white wine.
  6. (If you do not want to add the wine replace with water).
  7. Bring to a boil then cover and let simmer until fruit is soft (if you want or need to thicken up the sauce, let mixture boil with the lid off for awhile).
  8. Once pears and apples are soft and can easily break apart add in raisins cinnamon.
  9. allspice and pumpkin spice.
  10. Stir with a fork mashing up and large chucks.
  11. For a more smooth texture blend with a hand mixer.
  12. Let cool and serve.
