Spicy Satsuma-age--Goes Great with Rice!

  1. Pour boiled water over the satsuma-age to remove the excess oil.
  2. Cut into 2-3mm strips and set aside.
  3. Combine the ingredients.
  4. Heat the sesame oil in a pan and add the satsuma-age from Step 1.
  5. Once it's lightly browned, add the mixture.
  6. Here is a chikuwa variation

satsumaage, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sesame oil
