Ox Tail Stew
- 1 1/2 pounds oxtails
- 1/2 package beef stew seasoning
- 1/2 pound mixed vegetables frozen
- 1 x water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Heat oil in a quart saucepan.
- Brown ox tails on all sides.
- Discard oil.
- Add 1/2 package of seasoning and enough water just to cover ox tail.
- Cook/simmer ox tail until almost tender (2-2 1/2 hours).
- Add 1/2 pound frozen mixed vegetables.
