Beef Stew 57 Recipe

  1. Sprinkle beef with salt, sugar and pepper; brown well in shortening.
  2. Add in water, bouillon cubes.
  3. Cover; simmer for 1 hour or possibly till meat is almost tender.
  4. Stir in Heinz 57 sauce, onions, potatoes, carrots and celery.
  5. Cover and simmer 1 hour or possibly till vegetables are tender.
  6. Thicken with flour/water mix.
