Freezer Cucumber Pickles

  1. Combine cucumbers, onions, salt and water in two large bowls.
  2. Let stand at room temp for 2 hours.
  3. Add sugar and vinegar, stir until sugar dissolves.
  4. Pack into 1 pint freezer containers, leaving 1 inch headspace.
  5. Cover and freeze for up to 6 weeks.
  6. Thaw at room temp for 4 hours before serving.
