Rose Rolls.
- 2 cup flour
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 water ( about 1 cup or less)
- 1 medium tomato ( cubed)
- 1/2 cucumber ( cut into small cubes )
- 1/2 capsicum (small cubed)
- 1/2 cup lettuce leaves (shredded into thin strips)
- 1 1/2 cup shredded chicken
- 1 salt to taste
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste.
- 5 tbsp mayonnaise
- Pre-heat oven at 200C
- Mix flour, salt, yeast, oil in a large bowl until crumbly.
- Add water and mix well unti dough becomes soft and keep it aside (preferably in a hot place) and let it rise.
- For the filling: put chicken, salt and the ginger garlic paste in a pan, and let it simmer on low heat til chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
- After chicken is ready, leave it to cool completely.
- Add all the veggies into the chicken pan and add the mayonnaise.
- Mix it well with your hands til u get a creamy yummy mixture.
- After the dough is risen, make small balls.
- Then flatten one ball with a rolling pin on a floured surface, make 4 small slits opposite each other, add 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the centre, then bring together the slit sides, was inspired by the pic attached.
- Glaze the rose rolls with a little egg white and bake for about 15 minutes.
