Amaretto Spiked Mascarpone Gelato with Seasonal Fruit
- 1 tub (475 g) Tre Stelle Mascarpone
- 1 cup (250) confectioners sugar
- 4 egg yolks, beaten
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) Amaretto liqueur (almond flavoured liqueur)
- seasonal fruits as desired
- In a medium bowl, using a wooden spoon, beat together all ingredients until smooth.
- Pour into a plastic bowl, cover and freeze for 4 hours or overnight.
- Remove from freezer twenty minutes before serving and place in refrigerator to soften.
- Serve with your choice of seasonal fruits.
- Variation; add chopped toasted almonds or chocolate chips onto Gelato before serving.
- Makes 4 servings
