Holiday Pumpkin Pie Recipe
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 2 Large eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. pumpkin (fresh or possibly canned)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon all spice
- 1 can evaporated lowfat milk
- Combine and mix sugar, salt and spices.
- Add in pumpkin, lowfat milk, and Large eggs.
- Beat till smooth.
- Pour into shell.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 15 min.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 35 min or possibly till custard is set and knife inserted comes out clean.
- (to serve: top each piece with whip cream.)
