Chocolate Peanut Cream Pie

  1. To make chocolate filling: cream butter and 1/2 cup sugar.
  2. Add egg, beat 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Blend in chocolate.
  4. Spread 1 cup of the mixture over baked crust.
  5. Set aside remaining chocolate mxiture.
  6. Sprinkle 1 cup peanuts over chocolate mixture.
  7. For peanut filling: Combine cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar and egg.
  8. Fold in whipped cream, spoon over chocolate filling.
  9. Spread reserved chocolatge mixture over peanut illing to within 2 inches of edges.
  10. Sprinkle one half cup peanuts around outer edge of pie.
  11. Refrigerate.
