Real Broccoli Delight
- 10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
- 14 cup chopped onion
- 12 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup swiss cheese, grated
- 1 cup milk
- 8 ounces vermicelli, uncooked
- Saute broccoli with onion and garlic salt in butter or margarine in a large skillet until tender, but not brown.
- Add soup, cheese and milk.
- Heat and stir until cheese melts.
- Cook Vermicelli according to package directions: drain.
- Lightly toss Vermicelli with cheese and broccoli sauce.
- Serves 4 to 6.
