Julie Renee's Spanish Rice
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 34 cups hot water
- 1 (4 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
- 1 tablespoon salsa (if you want it spicy)
- oil
- Pour rice into large skillet.
- Add just enough oil to coat rice (not drenched).
- Brown the rice on medium heat.
- Pour in water, chicken bullion, tomato sauce and salsa.
- Cover with lid and turn down to simmer.
- Let cook for 15 minutes.
- Turn off heat and let stand with lid on for 10 minutes.
- Enjoy!
