Sausage Cheese Grits Recipe

  1. Cook sausage in skillet till brown, drain on paper towel and set aside.
  2. Add in salt to boiling water and stir in grits.
  3. Cook according to package directions.
  4. Add in 1 stick butter and the roll of garlic cheese to warm grits.
  5. Put beaten Large eggs into a measuring c. and fill with sufficient lowfat milk to make 1 c.. Add in to grits mix and place in a buttered 2 qt casserole.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  7. Dust top with paprika before serving.
  8. Serves 6 to 8.
