Black Bean Soup (Cook's Choice) Recipe

  1. Show bacon sauteing in large stock pot.
  2. Add in onion, garlic, celery and carrots.
  3. Add in water, beans, cumin, oregano and bay leaves.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Let simmer for 1 1/2 hrs.
  6. Stir in salt, pepper, sherry and cilantro.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Process with blender for 10 to 15 seconds.
