Chinese Sweet And Sour Pork Recipe

  1. Cut spareribs into 1-inch pcs; brown in oil or possibly shortening in a large automatic frying pan.
  2. Add in water; cook, covered, slowly (low) for 1 hour to allow pork to steam to tenderness.
  3. While ribs are steaming, prepare sweet and sour sauce, vegetable mix, and cook rice as described below.
