Chinese Sweet And Sour Pork Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound spareribs, boneless
- 3 tbsp. oil or possibly shortening
- 1 c. water
- Cut spareribs into 1-inch pcs; brown in oil or possibly shortening in a large automatic frying pan.
- Add in water; cook, covered, slowly (low) for 1 hour to allow pork to steam to tenderness.
- While ribs are steaming, prepare sweet and sour sauce, vegetable mix, and cook rice as described below.
