Doll Festival Sushi Cake

  1. Cook the rice so that it's a little bit harder than usual.
  2. Mix in the chirashi seasoning mix.
  3. Mix the aonori into half of the rice to color it.
  4. Make the scrambled egg.
  5. I made it a little bit sweet by adding more mirin than usual.
  6. Boil the nabana leaves, cool, and set aside.
  7. In a silicone cake dish, layer the egg, chirashi rice, cooked salmon flakes, and nori colored rice in that order.
  8. Use a droplid to push down on it and squeeze it all together.
  9. Flip it onto a plate and the base is complete!
  10. Next we have to decorate it.
  11. Use nabana, mini tomatoes, shrimp, and salmon roe to make it bright and gorgeous.
