Roasted BBQ Chickpeas

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 F.
  2. While your oven is preheating, line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the chickpeas from sticking (and make clean-up a cinch!
  3. ).
  4. If you are using canned chickpeas, drain and rinse them and then place the chickpeas in a large bowl.
  5. If you cooked your own chickpeas, drain off any excess moisture and then place the chickpeas in a large bowl.
  6. Add the crushed garlic, BBQ sauce and olive oil to the chickpeas and stir until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
  7. Transfer the chickpeas to your prepared baking sheet and spread them into an even layer.
  8. Bake the chickpeas for 35 minutes, stirring once after 20 minutes.
  9. Allow the BBQ chickpeas to cool slightly and enjoy!
