Broccoli Andouille Strata
- 2 cups Diced Andouille Sausage
- 2 cups Diced Broccoli Florets
- 1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
- 1- 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 6 Eggs
- 1- 1/2 cup Milk
- Salt And Pepper
- 1/2 loaves Italian Bread, Cubed
- Prehet oven to 350 degrees F.
- In large skillet, saute andouille until golden brown.
- Transfer to paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- In a medium bowl, combine andouille, broccoli, mayonnaise and cheddar cheese.
- In a small bowl, add eggs and milk.
- Wisk until combined, season with salt and pepper.
- Grease a casserole dish.
- Layer half of the cubed bread.
- Spread the andouille mixture over the bread.
- Top with the rest of the cubed bread.
- Pour egg mixture over the top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight if possible.
- To bake, remove from fridge 20-30 minutes before baking.
- Replace plastic wrap with foil and bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Remove foil and continue baking until top is golden brown and slightly crisp.
