Chicken in Dill Sauce
- 1 lb sliced mushrooms
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 -2 cup white wine
- 5 chicken breasts, flattened
- 12 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons fresh dill
- salt and pepper
- 5 slices swiss cheese
- 10 slices shaved ham
- Put mushrooms in sauce pan with 1-2 c white wine, start cooking mushrooms.
- They will cook this entire time.
- Melt 1 stick of butter w/5 cloves of garlic, low heat, til garlic gets soft.
- Take 5 chicken breasts of chicken, flatten them out, cook on low heat, 2 or 3 at a time, 10-15 minutes each.
- Add 1 T flour, 1 c chicken broth, heat with garlic butter mixture in skillet, add the dill.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Take mushrooms out of wine and add mushrooms to sauce with a little bit of the wine.
- Place 2 slices shaved ham piled on chicken, not laid flat, with swiss on top of chicken, and bake at 350 degrees til cheese melts.
- Add sauce over top.
