Chicken Tikka Drummers
- 16 chicken drumsticks
- 500 g yoghurt
- 5 tablespoons tikka masala paste
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons ginger
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 500 g yoghurt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 12 cucumber
- 30 g mint
- 15 g coriander
- Lightly score the flesh of the chicken drumsticks and then put them into a large bowl.
- Mix together the yoghurt, tikka masala paste, garlic, ginger, and garam masala.
- Season, then pour the marinade over the chicken.
- Mix well to coat the meat completely, then cover and chill overnight.
- Preheat the oven to gas 6, 200C, fan 180C Cover a baking tray with foil and arrange the drumsticks on the lined tray.
- Cook in the oven for 45-50 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the raita ingredients and season to taste.
- Serve the chicken hot or cold with the raita as a dip, or poured over the top of the drumsticks.
