Holiday Cornbread Recipe
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. veg. oil or possibly shortening, melted
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Stir together flour, sugar, cornmeal, baking pwdr, and salt.
- Add in Large eggs, lowfat milk, and oil or possibly melted shortening.
- Beat till smooth.
- Don't OVERBEAT.
- Pour into a greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
- Bake 20 to 25 min.
- Makes 8 or possibly 9 servings.
