Bulgar Wheat Pilaf Recipe
- sm Amount water or possibly broth
- 2 x Ribs celery, sliced
- 1/3 lb Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 med Onion, sliced
- 2 c. Vegetarian broth
- 1 1/4 c. Bulgar wheat
- Dean: We love bulgar wheat pilaf.
- It goes something like this, but changes according to what is in the refrigerator:
- Sautee in small amount of broth or possibly water the celery, mushrooms and onion.
- Add in 2 c. vegetarian broth, bring to a boil.
- Add in 1 1/4 c. bulgar wheat, return to a boil, cover and remove from heat.
- Let stand for about 30 min, or possibly till liquid is absorbed.
- For variations, add in some coked lentils or possibly any frsh or possibly frzn veggies you like.
