Blackened Red Snapper Recipe
- 2 tsp Onion Pwdr
- 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Pwdr
- 1 tsp Dry Mustard
- 1 tsp Grnd Thyme
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 2 tsp Crushed Pequin Quebrado Chile
- 4 x (4 Ounce.) Red Snapper Or possibly Other Lean Whitefish Fillets
- Combine Onion Pwdr, Garlic Pwdr, Dry Mustard, Grnd Thyme.
- Pepper, & Chile; Sprinkle One Side Of Each Fillet With Half Of This Mix.
- Coat A Large Cast Iron Skillet With Cooking Spray; Place Over Medium High Heat Till Warm.
- Add in Fillets, Seasoned Side Down, & Cook 4 Minutes.
- Sprinkle Fillets With Remaining Onion Pwdr Mix; Turn Fillets Over & Cook 3 Minutes.
- Or possibly Till Fillets Are Blackened & Flake Easily When Tested With A Fork.
