Crab Meat Spread
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 6 ounces shrimp seafood cocktail sauce
- 6 ounces chili sauce
- 8 ounces imitation crabmeat, shredded
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 12 cup green onion top, chopped fine
- Mix softened cream cheese and sour cream.
- Spread as a base layer into a 1" deep tray or pie plate.
- Next, mix the chili sauce and shrimp cocktail sauce and spread on top of the cheese layer.
- If desired, sprinkle the chili sauce with a little basil or oregano, garlic salt and pepper to suit your taste.
- Then spread the imitation crab meat on top follwed by the mozzarella cheese.
- Sprinkle green onions on top.
- Refrigerate until 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with Bugles or Scoops or Tostada Chips.
- NOTE: You can use frozen mini-shrimp instead of crabmeat.
