Supper Easy Turkey Stroganoff
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon roasted garlic (optional)
- 10 fluid ounces condensed mushroom soup
- 250 ml sour cream
- 14 cup milk
- salt
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 (400 g) package rotini pasta or 1 (400 g) packagefarfarelle pasta
- In a large pot boil 4 litres of water and salt for the pasta.
- Cook until desired tenderness is reached, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet heat oil on medium and add onion.
- Cook onion until it starts to sweat (approx 2-3 minutes).
- Add in ground turkey, Worcestershire, pepper, cayenne and garlic-cook till brown.
- Add can of mushroom soup to skillet and stir.
- Pour 1/4 cup milk into the soup can to get the excess from the sides- stir into skillet.
- Slowly add in the sour cream, stirring the whole time.
- Turn sauce down to low and let simmer 3-5 minutes, until thick.
- Stir in pot of pasta, serve, sit back and enjoy!
