Big Soft Almond Cookies Recipe
- 1 c. Butter, unsalted room temp
- 1 c. Sugar
- 2 lrg Large eggs
- 1 c. Almond filling canned
- 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 3 c. All-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 c. Almonds slice/blanch
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar till smooth.
- Add in Large eggs and blend.
- Add in almond filling and lowfat milk and blend again.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, adn salt and add in to the creamed mix.
- Scoop 2 rounded Tbsp.
- of dough and roll toether to create each cookie.
- Drop dough onto lightly greased cookie sheets, spacing the cookies 2 inches apart.
- Press sliced almonds onto tops.
- Bake till cookies are lightly golden brown and hard to the touch, about 15 min.
- Using a spatula, transfer cookies to a rack and let cold.
