Roasted Whole Turkey
- 1 Whole Turkey
- 1/4 Cup Salt
- 3 Tbsps. Black Pepper
- 2 Tbsps. Dried Oregano
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
- Preheat oven to 325F Fahrenheit.
- Open turkey n take out the neck n gibblet bag (set aside or throw away ).
- Rince off turkey inside and out.
- With paper towels blot turkey dry n set turkey aside.
- In a mixing bowl; combine the salt, pepper, oregano, n garlic powder.
- Sprinkle all over the outside n inside of the turkey.
- Coat the outside of the turkey well.
- Put into the preheated oven, uncovered, for 4 1/2 hrs.
- Until golden brown n a meat thermometer reaches 180F.
- Take turkey out of oven n let sit, covered with aluminum foil, for 15-25 minutes to let juices absorb back into the meat.
- Then u uncover n serve.
- Enjoy.
