Roasted Whole Turkey

  1. Preheat oven to 325F Fahrenheit.
  2. Open turkey n take out the neck n gibblet bag (set aside or throw away ).
  3. Rince off turkey inside and out.
  4. With paper towels blot turkey dry n set turkey aside.
  5. In a mixing bowl; combine the salt, pepper, oregano, n garlic powder.
  6. Sprinkle all over the outside n inside of the turkey.
  7. Coat the outside of the turkey well.
  8. Put into the preheated oven, uncovered, for 4 1/2 hrs.
  9. Until golden brown n a meat thermometer reaches 180F.
  10. Take turkey out of oven n let sit, covered with aluminum foil, for 15-25 minutes to let juices absorb back into the meat.
  11. Then u uncover n serve.
  12. Enjoy.
