Beef With Vegetables Recipe
- 2 sm. breakfast steaks
- 1 tbsp. white wine
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1 lg. minced onion
- 1 lg. slivered green pepper
- 1 lg. tomato, sliced
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- In lightly oiled skillet, saute/fry onion and green pepper.
- Add in beef and cook till tender.
- Add in tomato slices.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar and bring to a boil.
- Thicken with cornstarch and water.
- Cover and simmer 5 to 6 min.
- Soy sauce, sugar, salt and ginger may be added to taste.
- Serve over rice.
