French Toast with Banana Soymilk
- 2 slice Pullman loaf cut vertically into 6 slices
- 100 ml Soy milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Pal Sweet (aspartame sweetener)
- 1 dash Maple essence or vanilla extract
- 1 Banana
- 1 tsp Pal Sweet (aspartame sweetener)
- 1 tsp Rum
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 dash Maple essence or vanilla extract
- 10 grams Butter
- Whisk the egg into a bowl, add the sweetener, soy milk and a little of the maple essence, and mix thoroughly.
- Cut the bread slices into 2 to 4 pieces, and soak in the solution made during Step 1.
- Butter a heated pan and cook the bread on both sides.
- Slice the banana, put the slices in a heatproof container and sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Add in the rest of ingredients and microwave for 1.5 minutes without covering.
- Spread plenty of banana sauce on the toasted bread.

- Use 2 sheets of bread from a loaf sliced into 6.
- If using a loaf sliced into 5, use 1.5 sheets, or increase to 3 sheets with double the portion of egg mixture.
