Grandma A's Spinach Casserole

  1. Cook spinach.
  2. Drain, saving liquid to use in preparing boxed stuffing.
  3. Mix spinach, soup, onion, butter, cheese, and egg.
  4. Add stuffing.
  5. Place in 1 quart casserole and top with grated cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered at 350* for 30 - 45 minutes.
  7. To prepare stuffing from scratch- Saute onions and celery in skillet with margarine until tender.
  8. Toss together with remaining ingredients.
