Herb Stuffing
- 14 cup basting oil
- 8 ounces diced celery
- 8 ounces diced onions
- 1 tablespoon herbes de provence
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 32 ounces chicken stock
- 1 lb stuffing cubes
- 1 granny smith apple
- heat the oil on medium high.
- add onion and celery and cook for 5 mins.
- add herbs and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- add butter and stock and bring to a simmer.
- combine with croutons and grated apple.
- add mixture to backing dish.
- back on center rack of oven or 30 mins or until stuffing is browned and cooked through.
