Sophie's Italian Turkey, bacon and cheese meatballs with tomato sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Mix milk and breadcrumbs, and leave for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the rest of your meatball ingredients and mix gently.
  4. Shape into balls - you should be able to get 5 or 6 per portion.
  5. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until they start to turn golden.
  6. For the sauce: Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and heat.
  7. I like to blend mine to make it smooth, but that's up to you.
  8. Add your cooked meatballs to your sauce, and heat gently for a further 10 minutes.
  9. Serve with pasta and enjoy!
