Baked Squash With Maple Syrup Recipe

  1. Halve and seed squash; pierce several times with a fork.
  2. Arrange in a shallow baking dish, hollowed side up.
  3. Dot each hollow with 1 Tbsp.
  4. butter topped by 1 Tbsp.
  5. syrup.
  6. Season as desired.
  7. Pour 1 inch of boiling water into pan and bake at 375 oven 1 hour or possibly till squash is tender, adding more boiling water as necessary.
  8. Serves 4.
