Stir-Fried Broccoli With Almonds
- 1 bunch broccoli, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 3 garlic cloves, very thinly sliced
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth, 30% less sodium
- 12 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted

- Hear oil in wok or deep skillet over high heat.
- Add broccoli, garlic salt and pepper ro pan and cook, stirring often, for 3-5 minutes.
- Measure out 1/4 cup of broth; whisk with cornstarch until combined.
- Reserve.
- Add remaining broth to pan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium - low.
- Simmer broccoli, covered, for 5 minutes.
- Push broccoli to the edges of pan and stir cornstarch mixture into pan juices.
- Cook, uncovered until juices are thickened and glossy, about 1 minute.
- Toss broccoli with sauce until well coated.
- Transfer to a servng bowl.
- Sprinkle with almonds and serve with lemon wedges.
