BBQ Bacon Burgers
- 1 pound hamburger meat (80/20 mix)
- 1/4 pound bacon, cooked crumbled
- 1/2 cup bbq sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese any
- 1/2 cup onions, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Lawry's seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- In a large mixing bowl mix the egg and other ingredients well and then add in the hamburger and mix.
- When mixed well make into 4 equal sized patties and place a dimple in the middle of each one.
- Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
- (this is an important step, it will help firm up the burgers).
- Set up your grill for Direct Heat.

- When grilling burgers they should only be flipped 1 time, and gently at that.
- One of the primary reasons burgers fall apart on the grill is because they are flipped to soon.

- Grill the burgers on the first side until the juices begin to collect on the top.
- You can gently rotate them around the grill to avoid the hot spots.
- When the juices have collected on top of the burgers "gently flip over" and continue cooking until well done.
- When cooked at a slice of cheese and let it melt before removing from the grill.
- Remove burgers on the grill and let cool a couple of minutes before serving.
- You can toast the buns on the grill while the burgers are cooling.
- Serve burgers with your favorite condiments and vegetables and side dishes of your choice.
