Bigos /Cabbage Stew Recipe

  1. Simmer the sauerkraut in the stock for 1 1/2 hrs.
  2. Cook the onion in 1 ounce.
  3. butter, add in the flour, cook for 1 minute.
  4. Chop the sauerkraut and add in the onion mix to it.
  5. Cut the meat into small pcs.
  6. Put the meat and the sauerkraut mix into a casserole, add in the wine, season with salt and paprika, mix well.
  7. Cook in a slow oven with the lid on for 1 hour.
