Chinese Steak And Onions Recipe

  1. Cut steak into narrow slices.
  2. Heat half of the oil in a skillet and saute/fry the onions for 3 min.
  3. Add in the sugar, 1 Tbsp.
  4. of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp.
  5. sherry; cook a few seconds.
  6. Remove onion mix.
  7. Toss the steak with cornstarch, remaining soy sauce, and sherry.
  8. Heat remaining oil in a skillet and brown steak.
  9. Return onions to pan and cook for 2 min.
