Asparagus with Strawberry Vinaigrette

  1. Trim asparagus and cut each stalk in thirds.
  2. Steam until tender but still crisp.
  3. (Thin young stalks took 5 minutes.)
  4. Plunge in ice water; drain.
  5. Wash strawberries, then hull.
  6. Cut strawberries in half; combine with asparagus.
  7. Combine dressing ingredients; toss asparagus and strawberries gently with dressing.
  8. Chill well before serving.
