Pickled Refrigerator Jalapenos

  1. Put the jalapenos and garlic in a large heatproof bowl.
  2. In a saucepan set over medium-high heat, combine the cider vinegar and sugar and bring to a rolling boil.
  3. Remove from the heat and pour the liquid over the jalapenos.
  4. Let cool for about 30 minutes.
  5. Spoon the jalapenos into clean screw-top jars, and cover with the liquid.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
  7. They will keep for up to 3 months.
