Avocado Stir-fried With Ginger & Spices
- 1 Avocado
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 piece Ginger (finely chopped)
- 1/4 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Fish sauce or soy sauce
- 1 dash Salt
- Cut the avocado into bite-sized pieces.
- Finely chop the ginger.
- Put the olive oil and cumin seeds in a small frying pan.
- Put on a low heat and fry, taking care not to burn it.
- When the cumin starts to pop, add the chopped ginger, and fry until fragrant.
- Once it is fragrant, add the coriander and garam masala, and lightly fry.
- Turn the heat up to high and add the avocado.
- Mix it quickly and then add the lemon juice and nam pla.
- Fry together while shaking the pan back and forth.
- Once everything has been combined, have a taste, and season with a little salt.
- Done!
