South African Indian Soya Chutney

  1. Slice the onions thin.
  2. Pour as little oil as possible into a small pot but must cover the entire bottom with oil.
  3. Slice tomatoes thin.
  4. Add onions, salt and ginger garlic to oil.
  5. When onions are slightly browning stir in the tomatoes.
  6. Let tomatoes melt a bit then add masala.
  7. Defrost soya viennas in microwave and cut into bite size pieces.
  8. Add to tomato chutney and let simmer until tomatoes are melted.
  9. Can substitute the soya vienna with sausage, boiled egg or baked beans.
  10. Can also eat just the chutney in a hot dog or as a side to a meat dish.
