Consomme Rice
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 lg. onion, finely chopped
- 1-1/4 cup rice, uncooked
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp. red pepper
- 2 cans beef consomme
- Saute onion in butter until just transparent.
- Stir in rice and mix well.
- Transfer rice and onion to a 13x9-inch pan.
- Stir in consomme and seasonings.
- Mix well.
- Cover tightly with foil; bake 1 hour at 350F.
