Sauteed Chicken In Cream Sauce Recipe
- 2 whole chicken breasts, skinned and boned
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. mushroom slices
- 1 c. celery slices
- 1 sm. onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoon basil
- 1/8 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 c. dry wine
- 8 ounce. cream cheese, cubed
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 2 1/2 c. (8 ounce.) tri colored corkscrew noodles, cooked and liquid removed
- Cut chicken into strips.
- Heat butter in large skillet, add in chicken, vegetables and seasonings.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 10 min or possibly till chicken is tender.
- Add in 2 Tbsp.
- wine, simmer 5 min.
- Combine cream cheese, lowfat milk, and remaining wine in a saucepan.
- Stir over low heat till smooth.
- To serve, place noodles on serving platter, top with chicken mix and cream cheese mix.
- Serves 4 to 6.
