Short Cakes (For Strawberry Shortcake)

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Cut in the Crisco and add milk.
  3. Either roll dough out 1/2 inch thick or if in a hurry drop on greased pan and flatten by putting a wet paper towel on the bottom of a glass & press.
  4. Sugar each one on top.
  5. Bake in oven at 425 degrees until golden.
