Oatmeal-Pecan Scotchies

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Beat margarine and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Blend in the egg.
  4. Combine flour, oats and baking powder.
  5. Add to margarine mixture alternately with the milk, beating until well blended after each addition.
  6. Stir in the pecans and butterscotch chips.
  7. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake 12 to 15 min.
  9. or until lightly browned.
  10. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
  11. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
