Poikes Pork Chop Dinner Recipe

  1. Brown pork chops on both sides in warm oil in 12-inch skillet.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Meanwhile, heat butter in saucepan.
  4. Stir in flour, 1 1/2 tsp.
  5. salt and 1/4 tsp.
  6. pepper.
  7. Add in chicken broth, cook, stirring constantly, till mix comes to a boil.
  8. Place potatoes in bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  9. Top with onion rings.
  10. Pour chicken broth mix proportionately over top.
  11. Top with pork chops.
  12. Cover with foil.
  13. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
  14. Remove cover and continue baking 30 min or possibly till meat is tender.
  15. 6 servings.
  16. This is a hearty, country dinner.
  17. Serve this dish with fresh broccoli or possibly green beans.
