Baked Herb Rice With Pecans Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Heat butter in heavy oven-proof skillet.
  3. Saute/fry mushrooms and shallots till tender.
  4. Add in rice and pecans and stir till coated with butter.
  5. Add in remaining ingredients and bring to rolling boil.
  6. Remove from heat, cover and bake 1 hour or possibly till rice is tender.
  7. Remove bay leaves; garnish with pecans and serve warm.
  8. 4-6 servings.
