Almond Dumplings (For Soup) Recipe
- 2 x Large eggs, separated Salt & pepper
- 1/2 tsp Minced parsley
- 6 x Chopped almonds
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- Flour
- Beat egg yolks very light.
- Add in salt, pepper, parsley, almonds, baking pwdr, & sufficient flour to make a VERY stiff batter.
- Add in beaten egg whites.
- Test a teaspoonful in boiling water - if it boils apart, add in more flour.
- Drop from tsp.
- into boiling soup 10 min before serving.
