Spicy okra and jalapenos
- 3 1/3 oz pickled jalapeno pepper slices and 1 tablespoonfuls of the juice
- 1 1/2 cup sliced okra
- 1/3 cup of spice rub and coating, see attached recipe
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- Slice okra
- Melt butter and add olive oil.
- Coat the okra in the coating.
- Fry the okra in butter and oil let the extra coating flavor oil.
- Add jalapenos and juices fry stirring occasionally.
- 11 minutes.
